In a video released by the BCCI on Wednesday, February 14, Jurel failed to answer the introductory questions. When Jaiswal made fun of him, he reddened and said, “Isko hatao” (Get him out of here).
Jurel then spoke briefly about his interests, which included ‘being alone’.
He also described his ‘nervous’ sentiments about obtaining a seat on the team bus while the majority of the squad’s senior members had their seats reserved.
According to media reports since the game in Visakhapatnam, the team management does not want to continue with Bharat and feels that giving Jurel his debut will enhance the batting order.
