When Faf du Plessis hit a Marcus Stoinis pass through the additional cover district, Rahul ran to avoid an approaching limit, resulting in the injury at the end of the second half.
KL Rahul, the senior wicketkeeper-batsman for Group India and commander of the Lucknow Super Goliaths, was injured on Monday during an IPL match against Illustrious Challengers Bangalore.
With the assistance of the group physiotherapist and a save colleague, Rahul limped off the field. He was unable to walk and lay on the ground in pain for some time after suffering what appeared to be a pulled thigh muscle while chasing the ball toward the boundary.
He at first limped while holding his right thigh prior to tumbling to the ground. When Faf du Plessis hit a Marcus Stoinis pass through the additional cover district, Rahul ran to avoid an unavoidable limit, causing the injury on the final wad of the second half.
The degree of the injury stays obscure, and it isn’t yet evident whether the LSG commandant will actually want to bat when his gathering shows up to help. His participation in the World Test Title final, where he is a preferred wicketkeeper, may be in jeopardy if it is a muscle tear rather than a forceful one.
