PG Chris Paul made his comeback in the victory over the Washington Wizards, having missed the previous 21 games.
What happened to Julius Randle and OG Anunoby?
Julius Randle was forced to leave the floor during the fourth quarter of the Knicks vs. Miami game on January 27th because of an incident involving Jaime Jaquez Jr., a rookie for the Heat.
Randle appeared to be in agony after suffering a serious fall while trying to drive toward the basket. The incident affected his right side. He made his way quickly to the locker room with the assistance of the Knicks’ medical staff.
According to a league insider, Julius Randle‘s recovery and training schedule are going well and without any issues. Randle and the New York Knicks are mostly discussing the prospect of surgery as a preventative measure.
On January 29, during his pregame warm-ups, OG Anunoby decided he would not play in the game against the Hornets.
His right elbow, which has helped him shoot 39% from three-point range since being traded from the Toronto Raptors on December 31, was swollen, which is why he decided to sit out.
