An Indian Under-17 women’s footballer suffered misbehavior from the foreign coach of the team. The women player says that the coach misbehaved with him in Norway. However, the player’s name and the coach have not been revealed yet. The All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) has taken the matter seriously and the accused coach has been immediately called to India from Norway.
In a statement issued by the AIFF, it has been said that the team is on a tour of Europe for the preparation of the Under-17 women’s football World Cup. After receiving a complaint against the coach, he will remain on suspension. The coach has been instructed to return immediately. Along with this, its information has also been given to the Indian sports governing body SAI. An inquiry committee set by the unions will inquire about the whole matter. The coach has to appear before the inquiry committee after his Indian arrival.
Last month also a women cyclist had the same thing too
Similarly, A cyclist had also accused chief coach RK Sharma of misbehavior. After that, the Sports Authority of India took immediate action and called him back from the camp. The player was preparing in Slovenia. The complaint of the female player came to light last month. The player had written in the complaint letter- ‘Sir had forcibly entered my room on 29th May and forced me to do so. He asked me to be his wife. After this SAI called back the entire Indian team. They had called that female player on Monday.
After the complaint, SAI said in a statement issued that we have received a complaint letter from the player. In this letter, the player has accused his foreign coach of misbehavior. Taking immediate action in this matter, we have called the player home. The appointment of the coach was on the recommendation of the Cycling Federation of India.
