India tour of West Indies, Team India has been announced. Big and good news for Shikhar Dhawan fans is that he will be the captain for India on this tour. While at the same time, players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, and some players also from the England tour like Rishabh Pant and Mohammed Shami will not be part of the team. Currently, India has to play white-ball cricket with England. England tour will start with the T20 series.
After the T20 series, India will play a series of one-day internationals against England. Then team India has to go on the West Indies tour. The WI series will start on 22nd July. The Indian team will play a series of 3 ODIs and 5 T20 matches in the West Indies. The squad for T20 has not been selected yet.
India tour of England first T20 on 7 July
Meanwhile, the Indian team has reached Southampton, except for captain Rohit. Where India will start the T20 series of the tour of England with the first T20 match on Thursday (July 7). India A coach VVS Laxman can play the role of coach of the Indian team in the first T20, as Rahul Dravid will not be with the team in this match. The team has to play the first T20 only 2 days after the Birmingham Test. Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah will not seen in 1st T20.

Two T20 matches of the West Indies tour will be played in Florida, USA. Both these matches will play on the 6th and 7th of August. According to the schedule, the Indian team will tour the West Indies and America from July 22 to August 7.
