India will face Sri Lanka in Guwahati on Tuesday in the first one-day international of a three-match series. Ishan Kishan will be benched, according to Rohit, and Shubman Gill will start against Sri Lanka. The first one-day international will air live on DD Sports and be available on DD FreeDish. On their YouTube channel, All India Radio will provide live commentary on the match.
Since India will be playing with their full strength, they won’t be able to lose a single game in this series. They are under a lot of pressure because they lost the ODI series to Bangladesh and were humiliated in New Zealand. They cannot use this series as an experiment because disastrous bilateral ODI results are anticipated in 2022.
Even though Sri Lanka came very close in the T20I series, they still have a chance to make history in one-day internationals. They have yet to win a bilateral series against India. Their T20I lineup isn’t all that different from their ODI team. Sri Lanka greatly benefits from Dasun Shanaka’s performance leading up to the ODI series.
They now have a great deal of balance thanks to the addition of Chamika Karunaratne, who did not play in their previous ODI series against Afghanistan.
