Team India started practice in Delhi before the T20 series against South Africa. The first match of the five-match T20 series is to be played on June 9 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. All eyes were on Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik, the left-arm fast bowlers who were included in the team for the first time in the practice session. Bowling coach Paras Mahambre got both the bowlers to practice separately.
At the same time, coach Rahul Dravid was also seen talking to Umran. However, in the presence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, and Avesh Khan, both of them are finding it difficult to find a place in the playing XI.
Dravid talked to Umran for 20 minutes
Coach Rahul Dravid was seen giving tips to Umran Malik, who was included in the team for the first time. Dravid spoke to Umran for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, Dravid was repeatedly raising his finger towards the wicket. Umran has been included in Team India for the first time. During the IPL, he has bowled the ball at a speed of 157 km/h while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Arshdeep bowled with a bottle
To make the young bowler Arshdeep’s yorker more accurate, bowling coach Mahambre placed gloves on the crease in front of the middle wicket and a bottle in front of the wide line and Arshdeep had to target both of them on separate balls. Arshdeep also was asking the coach after bowling, ‘Okay?’ to which Mahambre advised him to focus on the length rather than the direction of the ball.
Team India’s wicketkeeper Rishabhpant hit the ball off Umran Malik. Whereas Bhuvneshwar Kumar returned after bowling for 15 minutes.

Hardik Pandya was not seen in the practice session. According to sources, he had not reached Delhi till Monday. Will join the team on Tuesday. Under Hardik’s captaincy, Gujarat Titans, who entered the IPL for the first time, have won the trophy.
