India vs South Africa 2nd T20I
India vs South Africa 2nd T20I: David Miller and Quinton de Kock are both widely acknowledged Indophiles.
They have played for 7 different IPL franchises between them: Sunrisers Hyderabad, RCB, MI, Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, and Kings XI.
They have gotten to know most of the Indian team well and are friends with several of the players. Due to their senior status on their respective IPL teams, they have been involved in plots against every single regular player for the Indian national team.
The two needed to score close to 18 runs (three sixes) each over with roughly 7 overs left in the chase for South Africa to prevail. The next over they had success scoring three times.
They were prepared for the conditions because India is like their second home. They know that in India, any run-mountain can be easily overcome.
Players
They had to face crafty bowlers like Arshdeep, Axar, Harshal Patel, and Deepak Chahar in the final overs of the game. The key distinction was that.
They required 20 runs each over in the final 5 overs, and 24 runs per over in the final 3 overs. By the last over, the score had reached 37. The Indians had bowled several overs, including several that went for six or more, and at least one that went for a no-ball.
Despite coming close with 3 outs, South Africa still lost by 16 runs. Even though they knew their way around India like the backs of their hands, the two guys still failed. However, they gave it a good fight. — Sandeep Dwivedi
In the second over of the day, Rohit Sharma was injured on his finger, and the Indian dugout could feel his pain. The coach, Rahul Dravid, had a “not one more” expression on his face as the Jasprit Bumrah rumor mill continued to spin.
Rohit’s opening partner KL Rahul, the umpires, and the team physio were all present on the central square. Each time Rohit flexed his finger to gauge the degree of the damage, he grimaced. Whenever tensions rose, waterboy Yuzvendra Chahal would be dispatched to the lobby.
Rohit was observed medicating and preparing to resume his watch. A six to long on within balls would lift the mood in the dugout and bring smiles back to the faces of the players. It did give me a fright, though. It’s likely that India won’t be taking any risks ahead of the World Cup, which begins in two weeks.
To those willing to wager, Rohit’s participation in the following game could involve a rest.
Snake, meet cricket; cricket, Mr Snake

This was the first time in the game’s history that play had to be stopped due to something completely unprecedented. A game in Guwahati, Assam’s Barsapara Cricket Stadium was paused for a few minutes when a shiny black snake slithered onto the field.
The ground crew surprisingly had provisions for the unwanted guest. It was undeniable proof that the snakes in this area are true cricket enthusiasts, not just pretenders.
Four uniformed men raced to the ground, and they didn’t appear to be scared. One was holding a pail and the other a staff to catch snakes. The cameras were taken away from the snake hunt and instead old footage of Rohit Shamra smashing sixes was shown.
Historically, in India, the day of the actual attack was marked by the appearance of a trusty old stadium dog. Every once in a while, a hive of bees will swarm down and force the people to stretch out on the floor. Although a rhinoceros would have been preferable, it was a snake that helped put Assam on the map of history. — Sandeep Dwivedi
Comments
Ravi Shastri would comment, “That’s a tremendous shot.” A couple more times he would say it. Suryakumar Yadav smashed a six directly behind him with a shot that defied cricketing traditions, the geometry of angles, and rules of physics.
In other words, this was not a top edge or a fluke; rather, it was a solid hit from the sweet spot. And he did it against Kagiso Rabada, the best fast bowler in the world, not some military medium bowler.
Surya gave him a complete toss to the hips and then, as only he can, used his mystical wrists to turn it into a devastating kneebar. Surya’s bat added extra power to a full ball that was aimed slightly toward the leg side. A full toss intended to trap Surya against the square leg barrier would miss its target.
Mr. 360 was on the crease, redefining the parameters of the game. The ball kept on flying after making slight contact with Surya’s bat after it left Rabada’s hand. Shastri, speaking for the cricketing community at large, kept saying, “unbelievable.”
