India was the last to visit the Caribbean in 2019, shortly after the World Cup. The home team had been defeated in all formats of cricket, including a 2-0 loss in the Test series. India had won the T20I series 3-0 with one loss and the ODI 2-0.
T20I Series: Two Matches Back-To-Back in Florida
The historic first T20I on Friday 29 July will be the first-ever Men’s T20I. At the Brian Lara Cricket Academy south of Trinidad. Warner Park, St Kitts, will be the venue for back-to-back T20I matches. India prepares for a more tour of the West Indies.
But this time they will only play limited-overs matches. India’s tour will begin on July 22 in Trinidad and Tobago. Three ODI matches will be played at Queen’s Park Oval (Port of Spain). And then five T20Is are played in three venues.
The T20I match will now be played in the United States of America. They will be played at the Broward county Cricket Stadium, Lauderhill, Florida, between August 6th and 7.

- July 29, 2022: 1st 2022 T20I – Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad. (10:30 a.m. local time, 8 p.m. IST)
- August 1, 2022, 2nd T20I, Warner Park St Kitts (10:30 AM local time, 8 PM ET)
- August 2nd, 2022, 3rdT20I – Warner Park St Kitts (10:30 a.m. local time, 8 p.m. IST)
- August 6, 2022: Fourth T20I – Broward County Cricket Stadium, Lauderhill Florida USA. (10:30 AM local time, 8 PM ET)
- August 7th, 2022: 5th TT20I – Broward Country Cricket Stadium, Lauderhill Florida, USA. (10:30 a.m. local time, 8 p.m. IST)
To accommodate the Indian diaspora in the United States the last two games. It will take place at the Broward Country Stadium in Florida on 8 and 7. FanCode will stream the entire series only live.
Nicholas Pooran, West Indies cricket captain, stated about the upcoming series. “We have an exciting team that is eager for the brand of Cricket the West Indies is known to play.”
