At Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, two Super Overs were needed to determine the victor in an exciting match.

The two sides got 16 runs in 6 deliveries in the first Super Over, which likewise failed to split the teams. India scored 11/0 in three balls thanks to a six and four from Rohit Sharma in the second super over. With two wickets falling in the following two deliveries, India set Afghanistan a goal of twelve.
After that, Rohit Sharma took a bold decision by handing the ball to spinner Ravi Bishnoi. He finished the second innings with figures of 4-0-38-0. To help India win the match, Bishnoi showed his bowling prowess by taking wickets on the first and third balls with just one given up in between.
After the game, Ravi Bishnoi revealed that he and Avesh Khan were ready to bowl the Super Over, but the captain’s choice to give him the ball was influenced by the presence of two right-handers. Taking stock of everything, Bishnoi remarked:
“His heart rate was rather rapid. Avesh and I were both ready to bowl the Super Over. But since two right-handers were sent to bat, I was requested to bowl. Since he would have to play off the back foot if he tried to strike straight. The strategy was to bowl stumps to stump and bowling back of one length off the second ball.”
