India against Zimbabwe, 3rd ODI, Highlights: Sikandar Raza’s valiant knock of 115 failed to lead Zimbabwe to win. India edged past them by 13 runs in the third and final ODI at the Harare Sports Club on Monday and had a clean sweep of the series 3-0. The match went down to the wire, all thanks to the splendid knock of Sikandar Raza. But India held their nerves, not losing their calm, and ended up on the winning side.
Earlier, Shubman Gill led from the front and scored 130 runs for India. India posted 289 runs for 8 in 50 overs. Shubman Gill maintained great composure. He built his innings with a well-calculated pace. Shubman Gill’s innings were the main reason that India posted a respected total in the 3rd ODI. During his innings, Shubman Gill knocked 15 fours and one six. Ishan Kishan was the second-best scorer for the Indian team with 50 runs to his credit.
For Zimbabwe, Brad Evans registered a five-wicket haul (5 for 54). Victor Nyauchi and Luke Jongwe claimed one wicket each against India. Earlier, KL Rahul won the coin toss and decided to go for batting first. Deepak Chahar returned for the 3rd ODI game. Avesh Khan was included in the list of the playing XI. Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna paved the way for the duo.
