India and Australia are all set to compete in an ODI series. There will be three matches in the ODI series between India and Australia. The first one-day international between India and Australia is scheduled for march 17 (Friday). The event will take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Hardik Pandya will lead India in the first One-Day International.
The captain, Rohit Sharma, will make a comeback in the next two games. Due to Pat Cummins’ absence, Steve Smith will lead Australia in the series. In an effort to maintain their home-based ODI dominance, India will focus on white-ball specialists.
Chahal, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Washington Sundar will all attempt to play cricket in an attacking manner. Virat Kohli is also doing well in one-day internationals, and he will try to improve on his century against Australia in the last Test in Ahmedabad. With two ODI series remaining in 2023, India could now claim a hat trick of victories.
During the ongoing Australia tour of India in 2023, India recently defeated Australia 2-1 in the Test series. While Australia won the third Test, India managed to win the first two games. The fourth test ended in a tie. For their outstanding bowling performances throughout the series, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin received the man of the series award.
India and Australia both swept the previous one-day international series. India beat New Zealand 3-0 in their final ODI series in January of this year. Australia defeated England 3-0 in the ODI series in November of last year.
