In twosomes play at the Genesis Scottish Open, LIV Golf’s four competitors finished first. An adjudicator permitted four LIV Golf participants to take part in this week’s Genesis Scottish Open. In the first and second rounds at Renaissance Club, those four players will be split into twosomes.
The DP World Tour prohibited LIV Golf players from participating in the match, which is also co-sponsored by the PGA Tour. Those who had requested entrance to the competition were able to enter it thanks to a stay of the suspension issued by a judge selected by Sport Resolutions, a U.K.-based, non-profit worldwide arbitration.
The inaugural recipients of the stay were Ian Poulter, Adrian Otaegui, and Justin Harding. They were joined on the temporary order by Branden Grace, the winner of the second LIV Golf competition held in Portland the previous week.
The field was decided to go from 156 to 160 by the tournament organizers. There were two groups of twosomes with four participants in each. At 2:15 a.m. ET (7:15 a.m. local time), Otaegui and Harding will take the first tee shot. As the first group among the afternoon wave, Poulter and Grace will tee off at 7:25 a.m. ET (12:25 p.m. local) from the 10th hole.
