Anjum Chopra has stated that Australia’s 3-0 success over India in the one-day international series was a reflection of their supremacy over the years.
On Tuesday, January 2, the Australian ladies defeated the ladies in Blue by a big score of 190 runs in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
The visitors had earlier won the first game by six wickets and the second match by a slender three-run margin at the same venue. In a video posted to her YouTube account, Chopra noted that Australia maintained their dominance over India.
If you want to know what domination means, go no further than the Australian locker room. India and Australia have played nine series.
But Australia has not lost a single series, and they have won comfortably, as the Alyssa Healy-led Australian squad did in India with a 3-0 whitewash.
The former Indian captain believes the hosts had a few great moments in the series that would serve them well in the future
As many times as you may go back and see how many possibilities we had to dominate, you will see very minor.
Very small moments after India won the Test match, those small moments, however, are enough to raise expectations.
Chopra stated that Harmanpreet Kaur’s remark after the coin toss that they will be the No. 1 team one day is a high expectation.
She stated that by taking such little measures, a route would be built, emphasizing that at least the goal is apparent.

After the fourth or fifth over, I was confident Australia would score 300 – Anjum Chopra on the visitors’ powerful batting
Anjum Chopra commended Phoebe Litchfield and Alyssa Healy for setting the groundwork for Australia’s huge score in the third One-Day International.
See how Australia’s batting improved as the third match approached. Alyssa Healy, who was having a relatively lean run, also showed up in good shape.
Phoebe Litchfield and Alyssa Healy combined for an 189-run opening combination. After the fourth or fifth over, I was confident that Australia would hit 300.
When asked about India’s chase, the cricketer-turned-commentator pointed out that their batsmen fell short. She stated:
The goal was enormous. The issue was whether we would see a stronger batting performance from India, but we did not.
We didn’t obtain an initial partnership, and the middle order had little, small expectations.
Chopra went on to say that India’s batting would suffer if Harmanpreet Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Richa Ghosh failed with the bat.
When Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues were also out, we didn’t see much evidence in the third match of the 96 runs.
Richa Ghosh got in the second match, it felt like the batting would collapse rapidly, and that’s precisely what occurred.
Smriti Mandhana led India in scoring with a run-a-ball 29. Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma, who both scored 25 runs, were the only other Indian hitters to do so.
Australia batted first and scored 338/7 in 50 overs. In the second inning, India were bowled out for 148 in 32.4 overs.
