Pakistan Cricket Boars (PCB) has recently joined hands with the Sri Lankan Cricket and Bangladesh Cricket Board for hosting the two 50-over World cups. ICC World Cups 2024-31 Host Contrary: BCB is ready to join hands with Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The FTP will be consisting of the two 50-over World Cups that are in 2027 and 2031. In addition, there will be four T20 World Cups in 2024, 2026, 2028, and 2030 including the champion’s trophies.
Pakistan Cricket Board has been looking for the grouping up with the Sri Lankan Cricket and Bangladesh Cricket Board for the World Cups 2027 & 2031. The 10th meeting of the board of directors took place on June 15, where the BCB announced its willingness for hosting the Champions Trophy for 2025. Along with that hosting a few f the ICC events.
They also announced the selection of the process for the ICC Men’s Events 2024-2031. The process will be overseen by the boards of directors Jalal Yunus and Ahmed Saajdul Alam.
As per the leading sports portal cricbuzz the Jalal speaks about the PCB proposal, “We have already stated that we want to host the ICC Champions Trophy while we are ready to co-host other events without neighboring countries.”
Further “India is likely to bid to host events solely because they are capable as they have the infrastructure in place and in that case if we have to co-host we will have to do it with PCB and SLC”.
17 boards shows up interest to express stage events
They also reveal that 17 boards are having the interested to express the stage events from 2024 to 2031. The countries showing their interest are Australia, England, India, New Zealand Oman, Sri Lanka, West Indies, UAE, USA, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Scotland, Malaysia, Namibia, Pakistan, Ireland. June 30 will be the last date for placing the bids.

Former ICC chairman Shashank Manohar break the ice between the boards PCB and BCB where the situation normalized. He manages to convince the BCB to tour Pakistan which earlier refuses to do so for security reasons.
