Venues for the ICC One-Day International World Cup 2023: The Grand ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will take place in India from October 5 to November 19. Ten teams would compete against one another in 48 games across 10 different Indian cities.
On October 5, England and New Zealand will play in Ahmedabad to kick off the 2023 Men’s World Cup. Three previous editions—1987, 1996, and 2011—were only partially hosted in India; this year’s competition will be held entirely there.
To have each stadium ready to host World Cup 2023 matches. The BCCI decided to put in around INR 50 crores for infrastructure upgrades. For the 2023 World Cup, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has already released the rules and format for group and knockout stage games.
The Narendra Modi Stadium will host the tournament’s opening match. The title game, and the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan match.
The championship officially kicks off on October 5 with a match between New Zealand and England at Narendra Modi Stadium.
A total of 48 games will be played across 10 different cities in India.

There will be 10 teams at this year’s World Cup. As hosts, India has qualified directly. As have Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa. Through the 2020-2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
