The ICC has revealed the schedule for the World Cup 2023. From October 5 to November 19, 2023, India will host the Cricket World Cup. There will be ten teams participating in the next World Cup. Along with Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and India—the host nation—these countries have all earned direct qualifying. Through their performance in the 2020–2023, ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, these teams secured their seats. Through the current World Cup Qualifiers taking place in Zimbabwe, the final two teams will be chosen.
Cricket World Cup 2023 Schedule-Latest Updates
- The advent of the Navratri festival is the main cause of the match’s new dates between India and Pakistan. If the match had been played on October 15, security preparations would have been challenging. In order to reschedule two of its group matches, including the one against India in Ahmedabad, the ICC, and BCCI have made contact with the PCB.
- The much-awaited India vs. Pakistan match. Which was initially slated to be played on October 15 in Ahmedabad as part of the Cricket World Cup, may now be played on October 14.
- The tournament’s first game is slated to start on October 5 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final will be played in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, according to BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.
