One of South Africa’s most well-known cricket grounds is St George’s Park Cricket Ground in St. George’s Park, Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth). One of South Africa’s oldest clubs, the Port Elizabeth Cricket Club, is based there. The Western Province Cricket Club, the premier cricket team in the province, plays a lot of first-class matches at the stadium every year.
It is also one of South Africa’s locations for One-Day Internationals and Test matches. It is several decades older than Kingswood College in Grahamstown. In the first Test, England defeated South Africa by eight wickets in March 1889. The stadium has hosted 21 Test matches since 2005, with eight victories for South Africa and nine losses for their opponents, as well as four draws.

Pitch report
Although it has recently hosted a few SA20 matches, this stadium has yet to host a women’s T20I match. On this surface, teams that bat second have prevailed in three of the five SA20 matches. The fact that 210/2 was the highest team total demonstrates that teams can score a lot at this venue.
