Fans are so excited for the ICC T20 world cup just because of which BCCI and ECB seek permission from UAE authorities for 25,000 capacity crowd to watch the T20 world cup final, which is played on 14 November in Dubai international stadium. There is a total of 16 teams who are participating in this tournament firstly India is going to host this world cup because of COVID-19 pandemic venue is shifted to UAE but BCCI is still the host authority of this world cup.
BCCCI AND ECB SEEKS PERMISSION FROM UAE GOVT
On ICC T20 world cup final BCCI wants 25,000 spectators in the stadium, to electrified this tournament because of this Covid pandemic there are different rules and regulations of different stadiums. However, for this, they will have to take permission from the UAE authorities. The World Cup was earlier to be held in India, but due to Corona, it was shifted to UAE.
The final of the T20 World Cup is to be played on 14 November at the Dubai International Stadium. for starting matches only 10 percent of the fans are allowed in the UAE.
According to media reports,
‘BCCI and Emirates Board want to invite a large number of fans to the finals. If permission is given keeping all protocols in mind, it will be awesome. However, nothing can be said about the permission yet. The matches of the first round of the tournament are going to be held in Oman’.
Rules For ICC T20 world cup final
The first semi-final of the world cup is played in Abu Dhabi stadium and the final match is played in Dubai International stadium. Fans do not need to undergo a PCR test to watch the match at the Dubai International Stadium during the IPL. However, they will have to provide proof of both doses of the Covid 19 vaccination.
If someone has gone out of the stadium once, he will not be allowed to come back. not only this Sharjah stadium has different rules. Here only the audience above the age of 16 years will get entry. Apart from this, the vaccination certificate and PCR test result will also have to be brought along with the dose certificate.
At the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, fans over the age of 16 will have to provide vaccination proof. Along with this, PCR tests will also have to be carried along children under 15 years don’t need to carry any certificate of vaccination and RT PCR test with them.
West Indies is in strong position
West Indies is the defending champion of the tournament and has won the title twice. Apart from this, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and England have also been successful in winning the World Cup trophy once each.
Indian cricket team has not won the T20 World Cup title since 2007. On the other hand, Australia’s team, which won the ODI World Cup title 5 times, is waiting for the first title. This is the 7th season of the tournament.
