Hudl takes over InStat: Hudl has now acquired a performance analysis firm called ” InStat. It’s a company that serves more than 2000 teams in major leagues including NBL, Premier League, and NFL.
The Senior VP of Hudl Elite business, Sam Lloyd says” This acquisition will help us to broaden our offering in many Sports categories such as basketball, handball, Ice Hockey. we will also accelerate our capacity to provide more advanced data for football in emerging Leagues.”
Hudl says ” we are building the world’s most powerful network of sports data and video.”
InStat insights and Hudl insights
InStat was founded in 2007 in Moscow by Alexander Ivansky. They have offices in Dublin and Philadelphia. The company analyzes tools for coaches, players, and media. Media picture advanced video and data including statistics that are linked to Playlists.
Hudl has expanded significantly in the last few years. In 2019, they acquired video analysis data and recruitment company Wyscout. They also acquired Real Track, in May 2022, it’s a performance monitoring company.
Hudl currently works with more than 40 sports worldwide, 6 million users, and 2,00,000 teams. It also has more than 3500 employees that are operating out of 17 countries in the world.
After acquiring InStat, the company released a statement to the public and media. In a statement the company said” InStat’s solutions will help us expand our multisport analysis solution. Also, it will help ensure organizations of all sizes never miss a moment. And the move is part of our strategic focus on helping customers to succeed in the highly competitive global sports market.”
