Team India will travel once more following the T20 World Cup for back-to-back bilateral series against Bangladesh and New Zealand. Between November 18 and 30, India will play the New Zealanders in a three-match T20I series followed by a three-match ODI series. After that, India will travel to Bangladesh for a three-match ODI and two-match Test series.
On December 4, 7, and 10, the three One-Day Internationals will be played. Mirpur will host each and every match. After that, the series progresses to the Test series, with the first test taking place in Chattogram from December 14 to 18. For the final Test, which will take place between December 22 and 26, both teams will return to Mirpur.
India and Bangladesh have played against one another in 11 Tests, 36 ODIs, and 11 T20Is. India has never defeated the Tigers in a Test match. India has won 30 ODI matches, while the Tigers have only won five. One of those victories occurred during the 2007 ODI World Cup, which was a major upset at the time.
Bangladesh has only won one T20I game out of 11 matches, and that victory came in the first T20I of their 2019 tour of India in Delhi. As a result, India has consistently dominated Bangladesh across all formats, and this pattern is likely to continue in the upcoming series.
In 2019, India and Bangladesh last met in a bilateral series. India and Bangladesh played three Twenty20 Internationals and two Tests in the series. India prevailed 2-0 in the Test series and 2-1 in the T20I series. The complete itinerary for India’s upcoming trip to Bangladesh can be found below.
