The Indian Super League (ISL) season 2022–23 already begins from October 7 in Kochi. To begin the season, East Bengal and Kerala Blasters will play each other. The ISL is returning to a home-and-away schedule after two seasons of playing in a big bubble. The previous season, Jamshedpur FC won the League Shield. However, Hyderabad FC won the ISL title.
The teams and coaches for the upcoming season have changed, among other things. Also, a little has changed in the structure. At the conclusion of the league stage, the top four teams had already qualified for the postseason. However, in order to select the semifinalists, the season will also include elimination games. The semifinals will be decided by the top two teams.
