The Big Bash League (BBL) will begin its 12th season on December 13, 2022, and the tournament’s championship game will be held on February 4, 2023. 56 games will be played in the tournament’s group stage on a variety of grounds across the country in a variety of locations.
At the Manuka Oval on December 13, Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Stars will play the tournament’s opening match. The knockout game, qualifier, and game are scheduled for January 28 and January 29. The elimination game will take place on January 27.
The Challenger will be played on February 2, and the finals will be played on February 4. In the meantime, Perth Scorchers will begin their title defense on December 17 against Sydney Sixers.
