From September 12 to 17, 2023, the Hong Kong Coliseum in Kowloon, Hong Kong, will host the VICTOR Hong Kong Open, a badminton competition. It is a component of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 5003 and has a USD 420,000 prize fund. Since 1982, Hong Kong has hosted an annual badminton competition known as the Hong Kong Open, however, it wasn’t always held there. The Hong Kong Badminton Association is in charge of organizing it. In 2007, the contest was elevated to a Super Series contest. Wang Chen made history by being the first local to win the Hong Kong Open in 2008.
