The former captain of Pakistan and star all-rounder Shahid Afridi talked about his conversation with an out-of-favor Men in Green pacer.
He said that he sends him messages on a regular basis to remind him not to give up.
Afridi is talking about a 28-year-old pacer who has played in all three formats of the game and is one of the best.
The Pakistan men’s cricket crew is presently participated in a three-match Test series against Britain.
England has won a historic series on their first visit to Pakistan in 17 years by defeating the hosts in the first two matches.
In the first two games, which were played in Rawalpindi and Multan, they prevailed by 74 and 26 runs, respectively.
At one point, the Men in Green had a chance to win both matches, but they didn’t take advantage of it and lost.
Due to injuries to key players
Particularly fast bowlers, the hosts had to lose the current series.
Fast bowling has always been Pakistan’s greatest strength, but in the current series, they are playing without their star pacer, Shaheen Shah Afridi.
The left-arm pacer is currently recuperating from an injury he sustained in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 final.
Haris Rauf, in addition to Shaheen, is unavailable.
The pacer made his Test debut in the first game of the series, but he got hurt and didn’t play in the second innings.
However, the management of the team has not considered bringing in the out-of-favor fast bowler Hasan Ali despite the duo’s absence.
The pacer, who is 28 years old and has played for Pakistan in all three formats of the game, has been out of form recently.
The last time he played for the senior team was on September 9 in the Asia Cup T20 Super Four match.
Shahid Afridi, a former captain of Pakistan, reveals that he regularly messages Ali to encourage him to return to the national team.
Afridi believes that Ali can still make a comeback
The great all-rounder of old said on Samaa TV that it is important to support players because they are national heroes, especially when they are not performing well.
“Hasan team is not for me. “As a senior player, juniors are less competitive than seniors.
Agar koi saath khada ho toh achha rehta hai, but aqt me toh har koi saath rehta hai As a senior player, it is your duty to support your juniors.
Ye hamare Pakistan ke heroes hain, ham nahi support karenge toh aur kaun karega In good times, everyone is with you, but it’s important to support yourself in bad times as well.
If we do not support these heroes, who will? They are the heroes of Pakistan.
