On a hitting spree, Iyer smashed a brilliant record century against Mumbai Indians on Sunday, taking his tally to 234 runs in 5 games. On Saturday, Virat Kohli smashed his 47th IPL fifty and 9th against Delhi Capitals, taking his tally to 214 runs.
Delhi Capitals captain David Warner is currently 3rd with 228 runs. Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan slipped to 2nd with 233 runs. Back in form and leading the RCB charge, Virat Kohli is eying another 900+ runs season. He has already smashed 214 runs in 4 innings with 3 half-centuries. He has also improved his strike rate to 147.58. On Saturday, he scored another half-century against Delhi Capitals.
