Maxwell was hospitalized following an altercation in an Adelaide bar. Contrary to media claims, his management has advised that Cricket Australia (CA) would not launch an investigation.
However, the medical team has contacted Maxwell to see whether but he had a concussion during the event on Friday night.
On the night in question, and the all-rounder allegedly went to a golf club before traveling to a pub after learning. He would rested for the upcoming three-match ODI series against the West Indies.
According to The Age, other participants at the event verified anonymously that Maxwell had been drinking at the Governer Hindmarsh.
