Hardik Pandyas, the captain of Team India, posted photos from a night out in the West Indies with teammates Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill. The Men in Blue defeated the West Indies by 200 runs in the third ODI to win the three-match series 2-1. Coincidentally, all three batted half-centuries.
The visitors were under pressure going into the decider after dropping the second one-day match by six wickets. In the series’ last ODI, they made a calculated effort with both bat and ball to destroy the Windies.
India will now play five 20-over matches against West Indies from August 3 to August 13. Pandya used his Instagram account to post some photos of him having fun with Gill and Kishan before the first game at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad. West Indies Cricket received criticism from Hardik Pandyas for lacking “basic arrangements”
The game’s stand-in skipper, Pandya, criticized the preparations made for the visitors after India defeated West Indies in the third One-Day International in Trinidad. He asked West Indies Cricket to provide better facilities for visiting teams when speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony.
“We have played on far nicer grounds than this one [Trinidad]. The next time we visit the West Indies, things might be better. from traveling to handling many different tasks. There were some problems last year as well. Pandya stated, “I believe it is time for West Indies Cricket to take note of it and ensure that when a team travels.”
“We don’t expect luxury, but we do require some basic needs to be met. However, I really liked coming here and playing some terrific cricket,” he continued.
In the third ODI, the Men in Blue batted first and amassed 351/5, with Gill leading the way with 85 off 92 balls. Following that, the ball was dominated by Shardul Thakur (4/47) and Mukesh Kumar (3/30), as West Indies was dismissed for 151 in 35.3 overs.
