Ambati Rayudu, a former Indian batter, recently said goodbye to the 2023 season of the world’s richest T20 tournament, the Indian Premier League (IPL).
In the IPL 2023 final, the former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player made an important cameo for MS Dhoni and co.
Rayudu, who scored 19 off 8 balls against Hardik Pandya’s men in the IPL 2023, had proactively affirmed that the highest point conflict will likewise be his swansong.
Interestingly, the former CSK batter had promised not to return to the game after retiring. The retired Indian cricketer had announced his retirement via Twitter during the IPL’s previous season.
However, after CSK management intervened, the former Mumbai Indians (MI) star deleted the viral tweet.
After being overlooked by Indian selectors for the 2019 World Cup, the swashbuckling batter had also announced his retirement in 2019.
The former Indian cricketer disclosed to TV9 Telugu that he had disagreements with members of the selection committee at the time.
The Indian batter who just retired said that BCCI officials told him in 2018 to get ready for the World Cup in 2019. 2013 saw Rayudu make his debut for Team India against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club.
