    Gujrat Giants bring Chris Gayle on board: In 2022, Gujarat Titans won their maiden IPLtitle. Last year, the BCCI announced two new IPL teams for the extended tournament. Gujarat TItans and Lucknow Supergiants are two new teams. 

    Gujrat Titans were playing exceptionally well in IPL 2022 edition.  There are many private cricket leagues with Gujarat as a team and one of them is LLC.

    Gujarat Giants now picked Universal boss Chris’s Gayle in their team on Saturday. Gujarat has another team in Legends League Cricket. They have picked Chris Gayle in the draft as announced by team officials.

    Jamaican All-rounder is going to adorn Gujrat giants jersey alongside Virender Sehwag. Legends League Cricket will kick off in Edens’s garden on September 16. 

    As per the draft rules, teams have 3 days to pick their squad including any choice of cricket Legend. They have to pick their squad with available Purses. Gujrat Giants already spent INR 5.5 Crore to buy 15 player Squad on Friday. They were left with INR 2.4 Crore approximately to finalize the squad. 

    Raman Raheja, CEO of Legends league reacted to the news

    Raman Raheja is the CEO and Co-founder of Legends League Cricket. He made a statement saying ” After Friday’s draft, Gujarat expressed its desire to buy legend Chris’s Gayle. With their remaining franchise purse INR 8 Crore. 

    We facilitated the discussion and were glad that the Universal boss will be seen playing for the Adani Sportsline team. 

    Chris Gayle will have the company of his former teammate Lendl Simmons alongside local Parthiv Patel. Gujarat Giants have Sri Lanka Mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis and Pacer Mitchell McClanaghan. The team also included former New Zealand Captain Daniel Vettori. 

    Teams Gujrat Giants, Bhilwara Kings, India Capitals, and Manipal Tigers have announced their Squad.
