Granma Grabs Back-to-back Victories For National Series Title. Granma secures victory over Cocodrilos de Matanzas in the seven games of the Cuban National (Baseball) Series with figures 4-0. The team has been able to regain the title of league champions. The team from Bayano has managed to win 4 championships out of the total six ones. Further, it became the sixth squad from Cuba to manage the victory over at least four league games. 

Granma was lagging behind in the series but made a blistering comeback with a 3-2 deficit. They won the last two games at the home stadium to gain the Cuban baseball title again. The left-player Leandro Martinez has proven to be a great asset for Granma. On the other hand, Guillermo Aviles secured the fourth inning to lead the offensive side. Later, Osvaldo Abreu was designated as the MVP of the series. 

Now, Granma is the sixth team to hold their dominance of the four titles. Industriales, Santiago de Cuba, Villa Clara, Pinar del Río, and Vegueros are five other teams to hold the spot. 

The top-tier finale of Cuba was live-streamed on the YouTube channel of WBSC’s GameTime Sport. It received more than 433,000 views for the entire series.
