Football’s world organizer FIFA has revealed the venues of stay and training for all 32 teams participating in the Qatar World Cup. The English team has selected an alcohol-free beach resort for the football tournament from November 21 to December 18, while Germany will stay at a wellness retreat. The Belgian’s base will remain a water park.
Each team was given several options for their accommodation. After all the inspections, those countries made their own selections. Most participants from England, Germany, Belgium, and Portugal chose venues in or around the capital Doha. 24 out of 32 teams will remain within a radius of 10 km from each other in the city.
England to stay at Al-Waqar
The team England will stay at the Al-Waqar Hotel in Al Waqrah, 10 miles south of Doha. This 5-star resort is close to the sea, but players will not be able to take alcohol during their stay here. England chose this venue because 8 out of 10 venues of the tournament are close to it.
Wales will stay at Delta Hotels
Wales has chosen to stay at the Delta Hotels city center in Doha, which is going to open in October. There is an on-site spa, swimming pool, fitness center, and facility like a Spanish restaurant.
Belgium will stay near the Hilton Salva Beach
The resorts of team Belgium are quite exciting. The resort has a theme park on Hilton Salva Beach. It has a water adventure park with 54 rides, scuba diving, go-karting, and many more adventure to do.
Germany has chosen Julal Wellness Resort, speciality of the resort is to offer various health treatments.
The defending champions France will stay at the Al-Mesilla Hotel in Doha. This hotel is famous for its Arabian-style design. Its one-night fare is INR 1.5 lakh. It also has the facilities of 30 private pools.
