Massa Paasewe Johnson, a PAULESI student thanked the entire team of FIFA and PAULESI for the helpful and unique workshop. Some even commented that the session was quite an eye-opener for them. The workshop highlights all sorts of insights and interactions related to the Confederation of African Football (CAF). It was a mind-blasting experience and boosts the passion for sports in Africa and other parts of the world.
FIFA, African Union, and CAF signed up the memorandum and that is what made the workshop possible. It led to the creation of joint strategies and programs dealing with anti-corruption, good governance, studies, education, safety, and security related to the games.
Professor Esther Akinlabi, PAULESI director stated that he feels obliged to host this sports workshop. PAULESI has agreed that the collaboration with FIFA and the University of Ibadan has proven to be a game-changer for the event. The participants are feeling delighted while getting to know about activities, FIFA, and the continent of Africa. What we are witnessing here is just the beginning of something great. It is the journey of enhancing human capacity and African administration.
In the end, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) came to visit the workshop and address the scene of sports administration here. The match security and safety regulations are promoted with the collaboration between the CAF and FIFA. The future of sports administration is highly bright and engaging in Africa. The young people are feeling more interested while getting involved with future opportunities. Solomon Mudege, FIFA Head of Development Programmes Africa addresses all these concerns at the workshop.
He further added that they all are feeling organized while dealing with PAULESI. Witnessing such diverse students in the workshop is what showcases the great experience.
