FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Qualifiers: Who’s going to grab the last two spots
FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Qualifiers: Who’s going to grab the last two spots. FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers are on their last leg, and almost all the teams to play are now revealed after qualifier matches. Only two spots are left, so it would be interesting to see who grabs these spots in the coming days.
Through the hectic and complex window 3 of World Cup Qualifiers, now 10 teams have moved to the next round. There are four contenders from Group b. South Sudan (5-0) and Tunisia (3-0) have managed to grab their spot in group b. Now it’s up to Cameroon(1-4), Rwanda (1-4) in Group B and Kazakhstan, Syria, and Iran in Group D to clinch their spot. These groups are fighting for their spots in their respective groups.
Host Rwanda (1-4) faced a hard hurdle to beat Tunisia, who haven’t conceded two straight defeats in years.
In Group C Cote d’Ivoire and Angola are going to the next round. It would be a task for CAF and Guinee to join them in the 12 team’s second round.
CAF are against Angola and Guinea will try to stop the 5 game winning streak of Côte d’Ivoire.
Winning predictions group D: Kazakhstan, Iran
There are high chances Kazakhstan will end up sweeping group D. They will not put past anything against Squad Bahrain which is riding high on winning over Syria. Syria is trying to survive against Iranian Quinet. If the favourites manage to win, Kazakhs and Iranians will make it to the second round. Syria will also make it to the second round considering their points difference from Bahrain. Only if Bahrain can pull some unthinkable games, the scenario will change.
