FC Bayern: From The Bottom Of The Barrel To World Cup Glory
FC Bayern: From The Bottom Of The Barrel To World Cup Glory. The decisive stage begins for the final more than ten weeks of the FC Bayern World Squad. While it is up to the young footballers from across the world, this Wednesday marks a pivotal moment in their chance to prove their skills as they get close to the project’s finish line. Ultimately, every player will be placed in front of German record champions and scouts at a presentation later in July with their peers.
“I’m looking forward to finally getting involved and learning more,” said Klaus Augenthaler, who was unable to attend the Brazil trip, “joining our Brazilian Football Confederation(BFC) coaching staff in June.” The next training will be intense and also an exciting one. After the time in Rio, we’re excited to see how the boys have further internalized what they’ve learned on and off the pitch and are able to implement it in our upcoming friendly matches. Alongside Augenthaler and Christopher Loch, Adriano will also be a part of the coaching team again.
In order to fill in the empty spaces left by players leaving or being called up, a few new additions have come into play such as Polish player Dawid Kalbarczyk on defense and Togolese player Degnon Julien Brito. On top of that, the start of the season for Mateusz Sobotka has been moved up at short notice and attacker Nattakit Butsing is being called up to play for Thailand’s youth national team. The squad is certainly very impressive.
How Wolfsburg and Unterhaching use their biggest sustained stage in the Bundesliga
The remaining 18 players from around the world are now in Germany for two tournaments. They will be tested first by VfL Wolfsburg’s U19s on Saturday, 9 July and the U19s of Unterhaching at FC Bayern Campus the following Wednesday, 13 July. There are also various group activities where the team can bond together and learn about Bavarian culture and the environment at Germany’s record champions FC Bayern. Christopher Loch is looking forward to taking part in these challenges with them.
Finally, we will face the U19s at the Allianz Arena as part of the Team Presentation. This is a highlight not only for our boys, but also for the coaches. An opportunity to play in front of fans and be on TV doesn’t happen every day.
Augenthaler is looking forward to the U19 v. Bayern game on July 16th, He predicts it will be a positive team performance given the opportunities that are available for us.
Bayern documentary to be shown on a global scale
The documentary will be broadcast by FCB as well as YouTube and some other popular international media outlets in the autumn. The eight part series will show the Bayern youth players’ development through training and club selection to the match against FC Bayern’s U-23 team.
