Fans react to Mohammad Rizwan’s controversial dismissal in the second Australia-Pakistan Test. The right-handed batsman hit 35 out of 62 pitches, including a six and 3 boundaries. Pakistan were finally dismissed for 237 runs while pursuing 317.

In the 61st over of the run-chase, Rizwan was caught behind by Alex Carey off Pat Cummins. His wicket effectively destroyed the visitors’ chances of tying the series.
The ball seemed to strike Rizwan’s wristband before traveling to the keeper, and the on-field officials ruled it out.
Cummins appealed, and the third umpire reversed the on-field judgment to out. Cummins’ demise brought his Test wicket total to 250.
Rizwan had similarly succumbed to Cummins in the first innings, getting 42 runs off 51 balls. Sarfaraz Ahmed, who playing the first Test, had been replaced by the wicketkeeper-batter.

By dismissing Mohammad Rizwan, Australia skipper Pat Cummins reached the milestone of 250 Test wickets.
As Pakistan were bowled out for 264 and 237 in response to Australia’s 318 and 262, the speedster concluded with a fifer in each innings.
Cummins also praised Steve Smith and Mitchell Marsh for pulling the hosts back from a 16-4 deficit in the second innings to set a reasonable goal for the visitors.

Cummins was also thankful for winning the Test series against Pakistan, the ODI World Cup, and the World Test Championship final, as well as regaining the Ashes in 2023.
