Examining the potential: Will Roman Reigns make the 20-year veteran return to the ring? The gradual escalation of animosity between Roman Reigns and Nick Aldis has been skillfully handled by WWE. The SmackDown General Manager made it clear to The Tribal Chief that this was not somebody to mess around with during their first meeting.
Not just Nick Aldis used tonight’s WWE SmackDown to spread his message. It appears that Roman Reigns also used social media to spread his message. In a recent video that he uploaded to TikTok, the Tribal Chief vowed to “fix” the SmackDown General Manager.
Roman also played around with Aldis in the last seconds of Friday Night SmackDown’s most recent edition. Before trying to throw a spear at Randy Orton, the Tribal Chief made fun of Aldis. But The Viper unexpectedly changed the tide with an RKO.
At the 2024 Royal Rumble, the two guys will square off. LA Knight and AJ Styles will also compete in the Fatal Four-Way Match. Next Saturday is the date of the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. The premier live event will be fully covered by Sportskeeda Wrestling when it airs.
Will Roman Reigns make the 20-year veteran return to the ring?
On the path to WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns, the WWE Superstar, appears to have encountered a significant obstacle. On tonight’s SmackDown broadcast, a 20-year veteran made a threat against the Tribal Chief. It’s none other than Nick Aldis. Paul Heyman was informed by the SmackDown General Manager that Roman’s championship would be voluntarily taken away from him should he dare to defy his orders.
Eventually, this would hopefully result in a singles bout between Nick Aldis and Roman Reigns. During the Thunder Dome Era, the Head of the Table had already summoned RAW General Manager Adam Pearce out of retirement.
Whether Roman will face Aldis in his return is still up in the air. For the dominant Sports Entertainment company, the former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion has not yet made his ring debut. Having said that, the pro wrestling scene has demonstrated that “never say never.”
