Fighting a finger injury, India’s rescuer Ajinkya Rahane on Friday dissipated questions about his contribution with the bat in his group’s second innings of the World Test Title last.
Ajinkya Rahane, India’s hero battling a finger injury, dispelled any doubts regarding his participation with the bat in his team’s second innings of the World Test Championship final against Australia in London on Friday.
Rahane believed that his finger injury on Thursday wouldn’t have an impact on his batting in the second innings after making a spectacular 89 in his 18-month comeback Test.

Rahane faced 129 balls while batting in the middle and struck 11 fours and a six. His 109-run partnership with Shardul Thakur (51 off 109) for the seventh wicket kept India in the match, but Australia managed to gain a commanding 173-run first-innings lead.
At stumps, Australia stretched out their lead to 296 runs by coming to 123 for four of every 44 overs in their subsequent innings. Today was good.

Alluding to Cameron Green’s mind blowing catch to excuse him, Rahane said, “That was a great catch. He’s a really good fielder, as everyone knows. has a wide audience.” He did not hesitate to acknowledge Australia’s advantage.
“In the game, Australia is slightly ahead. Playing each session in the present moment is important to us. Tomorrow’s first hour will be crucial.

On the second day of the match, Rahane was hit in the index finger of his right hand by a bouncer from Pat Cummins.
He contacted the physiotherapist for treatment as soon as he felt pain.
