Is it true? Kike Hernandez returns to Los Angeles.
As anticipated over the weekend, the Dodgers got their former utility man back from Boston on Tuesday, according to sources.
Jeff Passan later reported that the Red Sox would receive two pitchers, Nick Robertson, and Justin Hagenman, in exchange for Hernández.
However, Hernandez made 14 errors at shortstop this season before losing the job, but he has played well at second base and the outfield this season for Boston. On offense, Hernandez has struggled, hitting just (222) with a (599) OPS. That’s a slight improvement from last season when he also hit (222 )with a (629) OPS.
