Jasprit Bumrah, the star Indian quick, scored 26 runs to help his team reach 445 before being bowled out on Day 2 of the third Test against England in Rajkot on Friday, February 16.
Bumrah has been brilliant with the ball in the series thus far. However, this time he made a solid contribution with the bat and showed exceptional application.
Fans on X (previously known as Twitter) were pleasantly delighted to see Jasprit Bumrah perform admirably in the crease and strike a nice balance between defense and attack.
They were pleased to see how hard the pacer had worked on his batting.
Bumrah’s innings of 26 from 28 balls featured three boundaries and a six. He scored 30 runs for the final wicket with Mohammed Siraj, frustrating the visitors.

England overcome Jasprit Bumrah’s threat at a crucial moment before tea
At 331/7, it appeared that India would struggle to get 400 runs.
However, Ravichandran Ashwin teamed up with Dhruv Jurel, and the two contributed a vital 77 runs for the eighth wicket.
Ashwin demonstrated his expertise with a tidy 37. And Jurel showed no nervousness with a brilliant 46 in his maiden innings.
The combination of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj appeared to provide the hosts the impetus they needed heading into their bowling innings.
England did score 31 runs in the six overs before tea on Day 2. But it was not a very pleasant moment for the visitors.
Openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley made a number of plays and misses, as Bumrah and Siraj spoke about the new ball.
Ravichandran Ashwin has 499 Test wickets, and it would not surprise Rohit Sharma to call him into the attack immediately after tea.
