Deco points out his belief in Xavi following Barcelona’s crushing 4-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final in Riyadh on Sunday.
With a first-half hat-trick, Vinicius Junior stole the show. He scored the first goal in less than seven minutes and interrupted Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous Siu celebration. He increased Madrid’s advantage after three minutes, and in the 33rd, Robert Lewandowski cut the deficit.
Six minutes later, though, the Madrid striker finished his hat-trick to give the La Liga leaders a two-goal lead again. Carlo Ancelotti’s team won handily and won their first title of the year in the 64th minute thanks to a goal from Rodrygo Goes.
Deco stated that Barca is not currently thinking past manager Xavi, even though the team is struggling to win La Liga and is seven points behind leader Los Blancos. This is in addition to Barca’s inability to defend their Super Cup title.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes that his team were worthy victors in the Spanish Super Cup following their excellent start.
At Al-Awwal Park in Al-Nassr, Madrid took advantage of Barcelona’s high defensive line to go ahead by two goals in less than ten minutes, and they never looked back. In the end, they prevailed by three goals to clinch their second Super Cup victory in three years.
Ancelotti stated, “We wanted to win the final.” “We were worthy winners. We took advantage of the early high line and got off to a fantastic start.”When Vinicius found himself in exceptional shape, a new game began.
Barcelona sought to find openings while keeping possession of the ball. We had a difficult time retrieving it. The game remained open until 4-1, when we attempted to exert control over it. We played a really comprehensive game in the second half, and the squad was excellent at the back.”
Los Blancos is back to play in the Copa del Rey Round of 16 on Thursday against Atletico Madrid, the same day as Barcelona visit Unionists.
