In the first of three one-day internationals, India will play Sri Lanka on Tuesday in Guwahati. According to Rohit, Shubman Gill will start against Sri Lanka and Ishan Kishan will be benched. The first one-day international will be available on DD FreeDish and will be broadcast live on DD Sports.
All India Radio will provide live commentary of the match on its YouTube channel. India won’t be able to lose a single game in this series because they will be playing at their highest level. They are under a lot of pressure because they were humiliated in New Zealand and lost the ODI series to Bangladesh.
Because disastrous bilateral ODI results are anticipated in 2022, they are unable to use this series as an experiment. Sri Lanka still has a chance to make history in one-day internationals, even though they came very close in the T20I series. They have not yet defeated India in a bilateral series.
Their ODI team and their T20I team are very similar. Dasun Shanaka’s performance leading up to the ODI series benefits Sri Lanka greatly. Chamika Karunaratne, who did not play in their previous ODI series against Afghanistan, has brought a lot of balance to the team.
