Gautam Gambhir’s response to Naveen-ul-Haq’s obscure post has resurrected the Virat Kohli quarrel episode.
Naveen-ul-Haq, the LSG pacer, posted another cryptic Instagram post days after the ugly scenes from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants.
In it, he appeared to poke fun at Virat Kohli for their recent heated argument. Posting a picture of himself with Gautam Gambhir.
Who also got into a fight with Kohli after the game. Naveen poked fun at the RCB veteran, causing another social media storm.
Gambhir, the LSG mentor, was also invited to comment on the post. Virat was at the focal point of the tempest as the Bengaluru establishment took on Lucknow in the IPL match.
In the middle of the field, the former RCB skipper got into a few arguments with Naveen and briefly fought with Amit Mishra.
LSG all-rounder Kyle Mayers tried to talk to Kohli after the game. But Gambhir pulled him out and talked to the RCB veteran himself.
Both Kohli and Gambhir were in this way condemned by the Leading body of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) with a 100 percent fine on their particular match expense.
Naveen was given a half fine. Naveen brought the fire back to life just as the storm appeared to have subsided.
“Treat others how you would like to be treated. Converse with individuals the manner in which you need to be conversed with #With (Goat Emoticon),” Naveen subtitled the image on Instagram.
Gambhir wrote in response to the post: ”
Be the person you are! Never Show signs of change’.” Virat had also posted an Instagram story the day after the on-field altercation, seemingly in response to the events of the previous night.
The 34-year-old wrote, quoting a well-known line from Marcus Aurelius, who ruled Rome from 161 to 180 AD, ” All that we get is a point of view, not a reality. The perspective, not the truth, is what we see.
