Darcie Brown of Australia Women grabbed a screamer of a catch to eliminate India Women skipper Harmanpreet Kaur in the opening ODI.

December 28 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. The right-handed hitter was dismissed for nine runs on 17 balls, including one boundary.
The dismissal came during India’s 13th over. Ashleigh Gardner created a tossed-up ball that Kaur tried to sweep but failed by a top edge.
Brown, who played at short fine, dove to her left and caught the ball for a great catch. Australia reduced the Women in Blue to 57/3 in 12.4 overs with the dismissal.

Kaur will seek to make atonement in the present One-Day International series after scoring 9, 17, and 25 in the last series in 2018, which India Women lost 0-3 at home to Australia.
India Women were 89/3 after 18 overs at the time of writing, with Yastika Bhatia (45 off 57) and Jemimah Rodrigues (seven off 12) at the crease.
Darcie Brown supplied the visitors’ first breakthrough, clearing up Shafali Verma with a corker in only one run. Richa Ghosh was then sent back by Annable Sutherland for 21 off 20.
