A cyclist of the Indian women’s team has accused chief coach RK Sharma of misbehavior. After that, the Sports Authority of India took immediate action and called him back from the camp. The player was preparing in Slovenia. The complaint of the female player came to light on Wednesday. The player wrote in the complaint letter- ‘Sir had forcibly entered my room on 29th May and forced me to do so. He asked me to be his wife. After this SAI has called back the entire Indian team. They had called that female player on Monday.
After the complaint, SAI said in a statement issued on Monday that we have received a complaint letter from the player. In this letter, the player has accused his foreign coach of misbehavior. Taking immediate action in this matter, we have called the player home. The appointment of the coach was on the recommendation of the Cycling Federation of India.
Let us tell you that this controversy has arisen just before the Asian Track Cycling Championship. India is hosting the Asian Championships this month. This competition is to be held in Delhi from June 14.
Committee constituted to investigate
SAI has also constituted a committee to probe the matter. Apart from SAI, the Cycling Federation of India has also formed a separate committee for the investigation. The federation has issued a statement saying that we are with the player and will cooperate with the committee constituted by SAI in the investigation.

The cycling player was preparing for the Asia Cup at the Foreign Exposure Camp in Slovenia.
