As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, the Football Writers’ Association (FWA) Footballer of the Year award had been won by various players over the years. However, I do not have knowledge about the winners beyond that date.
To find out the most recent winner, I recommend checking the official FWA website or a reliable sports news source for the latest information. Today we will talk about the Football Writers Association and also tell you about the Footballer of the Year.
The winner is announced by voting between the Football Writers’ Associations, which consists of over 400 football journalists in England. It was with the suggestion of Charles Buchan that the announcement of the winner was started through voting.
