The Sri Lankan government has clearly told the country’s Olympic Association to stop thinking about participating in the Commonwealth Games to be held in Britain this year.
In this tough time, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board hasdone a great job they support players who is going to participating in the Commonwealth Games.
According to the news source of of the Indian Express the Sri Lanka Cricket Board helps 48 lakh rupees for the players.

The cricket board came as a troubleshooter for the players and gave 22 million Sri Lankan rupees (48 lakh Indian rupees) for the players.
Now the money which they received from the Sri Lanka Cricket Board the Olympic Association bought flight tickets for players and officials.
Apart from all these things Federation CWG SL also get some money.
Not only this but Cricket Board of SL will bear the full cost of Abekoon’s training for the next two years.
After this the SL Cricket board will also provide separate financial help to the women’s cricket team.

In this game everyone’s hope in on one player at the Commonwealth Games is sprinter Yupun Abekoon.
Yupun is the first South Asian sprinter to complete the 100 meters race in less than 10 seconds.
