Colts and lions training camp on Day 13 : The Indianapolis Colts are going to host the Detroit Lions at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday. Before the three-season match on Saturday the chords have posted the lions on joint practice sessions before the teams compete. They will be competing with each other for a preseason match on Saturday.

In the joint training camp of the Colts and the Lions, few players missed the camp on Thursday. wide receiver Keke Coutee, offensive lineman Dennis Kelly, linebacker JoJo Domann, defensive tackle R.J. McIntosh, cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, safety Will Redmond, safety Armani Watts, and defensive tackle Chris Williams were missing. While Cornerback Anthony Chesley returned after missing training earlier in the week.
Followed by the torn ACL diagnosis on Thursday, Drew Ogletree obviously missed out on practice sessions after going on injured reserve. After the practice session, the coach said” It’s only a torn ACL for Drew, it usually happens in a 9-month schedule. ”
Some Indianapolis Colts players were having fun before the practice session. Yannick Ngakoue boards a camera from a photographer to take some shots of Grover Stewart. Shaquille Leonard also signed a onesie for a baby before practice.
The second-year wide receiver Mike Strachan and rookie tight end Jelani Woods were in a practice session. They are returning from a knee injury and had some strong performances in camp.
In 11-on-11s featuring the Detroit Lions offense vs. Indianapolis Colts defense- There was a lot of work in the hurry-up offense and red zone.
Early in practice, the Lions had some big pass plays in 7-on-7s. Quarterback David Blough was found running back D’Andre Swift on a pass play. Jared Goff, the starting quarterback also hit Swift for a score over linebacker Bobby Okereke
E.J. Speed teamed up with safety Nick Cross for amazing run stuff on 1 play. He shortly after intercepted quarterback Tim Boyle in the end zone. To force the pass, defensive tackle Byron Cowart flushed Boyle out of the pocket on the play.
In 11-on-11s, Goff was 10-of-17 passing with 58.8%. He was passing to receiver Trinity Benson with a 50-yard touchdown on a post route
Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams also had some strong runs. He was heavily and aggressively involved in the passing game. It was a good and solid day for him.
