Coco Gauff defeats Aryna Sabalenka to reach the quarterfinals in Toronto: TORONTO – Tenth-seeded Coco Gauff defeated sixth-seeded Aryna Sabalenka 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (4) on Thursday, the 11th of August 2022. Coco defeated Sabalenka to reach the National Bank Open quarterfinals.
