Claims a former WWE employee would offer Vince McMahon a “big hug” if they happened to cross paths. Teddy Long, a WWE Hall of Famer, recently discussed his reaction in the unlikely event that he ran across Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon, an American businessman is a co-founder of the modern WWE and also the owner of Alpha Entertainment.
Following a complaint against him filed in January by Janel Grant, a former employee of WWE, the former CEO and Chairman has been embroiled in legal proceedings. The 67-page complaint described how she was forced into a personal connection with Mr. McMahon after he had sexually assaulted her. The wrestling community was horrified by the lawsuit’s brutal contents.
Teddy Long said that he wouldn’t bring up the subject if he ever met Vince McMahon on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine podcast. He believed that asking his former employer about the circumstances was out of his place. Claims a former WWE employee would offer Vince McMahon a “big hug” to him.
“I would not even mention that. I would just talk to him, maybe give him a huge embrace, observe his appearance, and offer compliments. Ah, come on, let’s have a seat and discuss. I don’t think I’m allowed to do that, so I wouldn’t even bring it up. I don’t believe it would be appropriate for me to approach Vince straight away and ask. “Hey man, what’s going on with all that stuff?” That’s not where I belong. I wouldn’t even bring it up, therefore.”
Vince McMahon left the TKO Board following the public revelation of the accusations. In addition, he issued a public statement in which he refuted the charges and threatened to counterattack.
